We're still here.

Wow. It's been a while.
And I have plenty to report.

Gavyn is crawling. (don't know if I already announced that) And he is steadily on his way to walking on his own. He cruises furniture like a pro and will take a few steps on his own before he falls. I think that's what diapers are really for. :)
And he currently has 2 1/2 teeth. (the one on the top is only half way out)

I made a mobile to go over the changing table in the hopes that Gavyn might be less inclined to roll over and crawl away while he gets "reupholstered".

We had a pretty quiet Halloween. We had the Walsers over for a little party but only the babies were dressed up. We're so dull...
But we made some fun dishes: "mummy" pigs-in-a-blanket, a veggie skeleton, a pumpkin roll and some shrunken head apple cider pictured below.

We had a delightful visit from my mom and we took her all over Seattle.
We took her to Queen Anne to see the iconic view of Seattle and Mt. Ranier

And she took us to Acres of Clams; the sit-down branch of Ivars

We got to go home to Colorado for Thanksgiving and be with everyone except Matthew (he's on his Mission on Pennsylvania)

Gavyn really enjoyed his turkey, sweet potatoes and steamed carrots. So much so, that he tried to save some for later in his hair...

The day after Thanksgiving we took our tradition trek to the mountains to hunt down the perfect Pond Christmas tree.
Gavyn loved the snow! He leaned out to watch my feet and he would giggle every time I took a step and he could hear the snow crunch.
Such a joy.
