Just as soon as the family left Renton, Gavyn and I turned around and followed the Ponds home and the little one had his first airplane ride! He did beautifully. He had a nice nap in my arms through security, boarding, and half-way through the flight. Then he woke up, had a bottle and stared very intently out the window for a while, did some tricks for the flight attendants and went back to sleep in time for our descent into Denver.
We had a slow weekend in Berthoud with the Pond family coming and going from Grandma & Papa's house. I got to go up with my dad in his new airplane, Gavyn got some new clothes and bigger diapers as I had failed to notice he'd outgrown the "newborn" size, and (most importantly) he got to meet the rest of his aunts, Uncle Mark, and two cousins, Ethan and Joseph.
What a week...
